JBL Party Time with Silvia 'La Bronca' del Valle In-Store Giveaway Official Rules

1. Promotion Description: The "JBL Party Time with Silvia 'La Bronca' del Valle" is an in-store promotional giveaway event hosted by Curacao. Scheduled for Los Angeles on December 16, 2023, and Huntington Park on December 17, 2023, from 3 PM to 5 PM, this event offers attendees the chance to win various JBL products.
2. Eligibility: The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and representatives of the Sponsor, the promotion agencies, and any other entities involved in the design, promotion, marketing, administration, or fulfillment of this Giveaway, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible. The giveaway is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
3. Sponsor: The Giveaway is sponsored by Curacao, located at 1605 W. Olympic Blvd. Suite 600, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
4. Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Giveaway constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
5. How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, eligible participants can enter the Giveaway in the following way:
   In-Person Entry: No purchase necessary. Participants must be present at the event location during the giveaway times. Winners will be randomly selected from the attendees present.
6. Limit: One (1) entry per person per location during the Promotion Period. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
7. Winner Selection: Random selections will take place during the event. Must be present at the following event locations, dates, and times to win:

8. Winner Notification: The selected winners will be announced and notified in person during the course of the event.
9. Prizes:
   JBL GO3 Speakers: 40 prizes (20 prizes per event), each with an approximate retail value (ARV) of $49.99.
   JBL Party Box 110: 4 prizes (2 prizes per event), each with an ARV of $399.99.
   JBL Party Box 310: 2 prizes (1 prize per event), each with an ARV of $549.99.
   JBL Party Box 710: 2 prizes (1 prize per event), each with an ARV of $799.99.
   JBL Party Box 1000: 2 prizes (1 prize per event), each with an ARV of $999.99.
   JBL Party Box Ultimate: 2 prizes (1 prize per event), each with an ARV of $1,699.99
10. Prize Restrictions: No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Sponsor's discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize or portion of the prize is unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded, without substitution of any kind. All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
11. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention, or other technical problem, or in the event the Giveaway is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules, or (b) terminate the Giveaway and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys' fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
12. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Giveaway, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Giveaway, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing, or typographical errors; (d) any other errors or problems in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Giveaway, the announcement of the winner, the cancellation or postponement of the event, if applicable, or in any Giveaway-related materials; or (e) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants' participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorneys' fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
13. Privacy: Information collected from entrants is intended for the purpose of administering this Giveaway and may be used by the Sponsor and its affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. By entering this Giveaway, entrants agree to Sponsor's use of their personal information as described in the Sponsor's privacy policy.
14. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's and its agents' use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
15. Event Participation: Participation in the event and the Giveaway is at the attendee's own risk. Attendees assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Giveaway or use or redemption of any prize.
16. Winners List: For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to 1605 W. Olympic Blvd. Suite 600, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Requests must be received within four (4) weeks of the end of the Promotion Period.
17. Amendments to the Official Rules: The Sponsor reserves the right to amend these Official Rules at any time in its sole discretion, and entrants agree to abide by the most recent version of the Official Rules as published on the official website or communicated by the Sponsor.
